Placing Your Order
Orders
are typically processed directly via our website. You will find
everything displayed by the category tabs or you can query something
in particular using our ‘search’ facility. The Baby Gifts Company
accepts MasterCard, Visa and all major debit cards.
Gift Wrapping
Our
personalised gift boxes are beautifully presented in a unique hand
crafted box which is perfect to use as a keepsake box for storing
all your precious little items. The box is further accompanied by
a gift card where you can add your personal message. We also offer
a gift wrapping service. This service is a bargain £4.00 and we
utilise the same unique boxes as used for the personalised keepsake
boxes. A giftcard is also included for you to add a personal message.
Unfortunately we stock some items that we are not able to gift wrap
i.e due to size. Where that is the case, this is indicated next
to that particular product.
Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
We genuinely hope that you are satisfied with
your purchase. If however any items do not meet your expectations
for whatever reason, please return them in perfect condition with
original packaging, along with a completed returns form, within
14 days from day of purchase for a refund or exchange.
The refund will be in the form of the original
method of payment. Address for returns is The Baby Gifts Company,
15 Ailsa Drive, Glasgow G46 6RL, United Kingdom Refunds will not
be transacted until goods are received by our Returns Department
in a re-saleable condition. Customers are therefore advised to ensure
a Royal Mail tracking reference is attached to the returned goods
as proof of delivery.
With items that have been received in an unsatisfactory
condition or damaged during delivery, please contact us immediately
and we will either send you a replacement item or provide you with
a full refund including your initial The Baby Gifts Company delivery
cost. Refunds will not be transacted until goods are received by
our Returns Department.
If you have simply had a change of mind or ordered
an incorrect size then we will refund the cost of the item(s), but
P + P will be excluded from the refund transaction. If a customer
returns a product without requesting a replacement, then a refund
of the cost of the product will be made back to the customer’s account
minus any postage costs incurred by The Baby Gifts Company.
The Baby Gifts Company will not be held responsible
for lost or stolen parcels and strongly advise that you obtain suitable
proof of posting when returning goods. You may cancel your order
at any time before your order is shipped. These terms & conditions
are in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer which remain
unaffected.
Product Descriptions & Availability
We
make every effort to portray all our items accurately, however slight
variations may occur. Please be aware that photographs are for representational
purposes only and are not necessarily to scale, please check dimensions
on the product page, failing which, contact a member of our customer
services who will be more than happy to help with any queries regarding
product descriptions. Colours and content may vary slightly from
the images shown. All items are offered subject to availability
at time of ordering. However, should an item be out of stock there
may be short delays in delivery and we will notify you immediately.
The Baby Gifts Company strives to have all products available permanently.
However, as many of our gifts are handmade, occasionally some gifts
may be out of stock or discontinued. If so The Baby Gifts Company
reserves the right to substitute an item for another gift of similar
value and quality.
Data Protection Act
Any
information that you disclose will only be used by The Baby Gifts
Company except where it is necessary and legally sound to pass this
information to third parties for processing your order. Payments
made online is via our secure, security enabled site. We do not
retain your payment details at any point.
Liability
The
Baby Gifts Company will not be held liable for any failure to deliver
goods purchased or any delay in doing so for any damage or defect
to goods delivered caused by any event or circumstance that is beyond
our reasonable control. This includes without limitation, strikes,
lock-outs and other industrial actions, breakdown of systems, failures
or sub-contactor transport or network access, flood, fire, explosion
or accident.
Privacy Policy
We
are wholly committed to protecting your privacy. We will only utilise
information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with
the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect personal information from
you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to
provide you with the best possible service. You will be afforded
the chance to refuse any promotional and marketing email from us
or from associated traders in the future. The type of information
we will collect about you includes: your name address phone number
email address. The Baby Gifts Company DOES NOT store your payment
card details we use WORLDPAY and PAYPAL for this. We will never
collect sensitive information without your express consent. The
information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check
the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find
any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal
information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with
our internal security policy and the law. We may use technology
to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This
can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser.
You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The
information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless
you modify your browser settings. If you have any questions/comments
